Queensland beaches are pretty beautiful. I recently spent some time in Southern Queensland around Coolangatta near the Gold Coast. My hope was for 'beautiful one day and perfect then next' as they say in the tourism brochures, but sadly it was mostly rain. Staying a 2 minute walk to Snapper Rocks I was hopeful of some surf, but the below is all that I got. As you can see not much surf around, but there was a bit of colour in the sky for one day.
