Last night I decided that I would get up early this morning and shoot the sunrise and surf. So this morning I woke up early (it was still dark) get dressed put my camera bag on my back and begin to head out the door. Then it dawns on me. (insert swearing tirade here) All of my memory cards are at work, so my plans go out the window. Oh well, coffee and Olympics are still worth getting up early for....right? I was disappointed then I find out that the swell is big 6-8ft and really only suitable for experienced surfers, but the good news for me is that I didn't miss much as it is super messy and strong gusting winds. It is also super cold.
