At sunrise Bondi Beach looked more like a lake than a beach. There were a few ambitious surfers that paddled out, but the tide was high and full so there really were no waves. Might be a few when the tide drops, but you will need a big board. Most surfers carried their board down to the beach and layed it on the sand and went for a swim. It was a pretty good sunrise and a typical Autumn morning with a cool crisp breeze, but a beautiful start to the day.
